Terramater Unusual Cabernet - Shiraz - Zinfandel 2003
Isla de Maipo, Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileBig spicy, black cherry, cassis, peppery, smoky, coffee, licorice, cedar, tobacco nose with some minty, saddle leather underneath. Warm, rich, fat but somewhat tannic and dry. Very peppery, spicy, smoky, oaky, vanilla, peppery, resiny, cola, rootsy, blackberry, cassis jam flavours with a long clove, sandalwood finish. Quite dry and chewy on the finish, needs 3-5 years but has good intensity.
