Chateau Bonnet Entre-Deux-Mers 2004

Bordeaux, FranceBonnet was built in the 18th century and has belonged to the Andre Lurton family since the end of the 19th century. The vineyard is a blend of 45/45/10 sauvignon blanc/sémillon/muscadelle. Look for a leesy, mineral, grapefruit nose with passion fruit and gooseberry underneath. Fresh, round, dry style with chalky, passion fruit, grapefruit, and gooseberry flavours with a touch of garlic on the finish. Somewhat tart finish will be best with oysters or sole.Tasted: 01 September 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
