Campo Eliseo Tinto de Toro 2003
Toro, Castilla-Leon, SpainEarthy, smoky, licorice, peppery, garrigue nose with chocolate, black cherry, game and tobacco in the background. Warm, rich, fat and strong. Big chocolate, peppery, mocha, black cherry, mineral, red licorice, cigar flavours. Long, bright fresh fruit but very warm and a bit tart on the finish. Very modern take but with a bit too much oak and fat to grab a finesse moniker.Tasted: 20 September 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $99.99 | 750ml | estimated |
