Anakena Pinot Noir 2004
Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileMinty, tea leaf, earthy, rootsy, spicy, carrot top, rhubarb aromas, very cool climate nose. Smooth, round, dry palate with some light tannin. Brisk with rhubarb, tea, smoky, wild strawberry, spicy, compost flavours with a touch of celery salt and orange rind on the finish. Very cool and quite tart but with pinot character. The price is a bargain.Tasted: 02 September 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $17.50 | 750ml | speculative listing - AnaRona Wines |
