Kaiken Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2003
Agrelo District, Luján de Cuyo, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaNice improvement on the 2003 with richer riper aromas on the nose and softer textures in the mouth. The fruit is a mix of blackcurrants and black cherries with a streak of savoury tobacco. Firm dry finish. Youthful and should improve through 2010. There a splash of merlot and about 10 per cent malbec in the blend that is aged in 70 per cent American oak.Tasted: 30 August 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:US | $10.00 | 750ml | Suggested Retail |
