Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSmoky, leafy, cassis, green bean aromas mixed with plenty of black olive, saddle leather and resiny tobacco leaf aromas. Dry, tight palate with cedar-y tannins. Soy, cassis, resiny, stewed tomato, tobacco and pepper flavours. Somewhat rootsy, resiny oak finish with some acidity and dryness showing. Lacks the usual ripeness and balance.
