Carneros, Napa Valley, California, United StatesNo malolactic fermentation and wild yeast is the story of Red Shoulder Ranch. I would not describe this as New Wave California chardonnay but under the honey and ripe fruit, there is a sense of freshness and while it may not be super lean its refreshing ands stylish in the mouth. Look for tropical notes with lemon and nectarine skin streaks underneath. Long and rich.
