Concha y Toro Trio Merlot Carmenere Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileWhite pepper, coffee, mocha nose with lots of minty, tobacco leaf, herbal (carmenère) notes. Soft, round, full, crisp palate with tobacco, cedar, minty, vanilla, mocha, espresso and black cherry flavours. The finish is a bit tart with some young tannins but it has plenty of intensity. It needs a rare steak.Tasted: 19 July 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $16.95 | 750ml | specialty listing |
