ZED Sauvignon Blanc 2005

Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandBig bell pepper, canned asparagus, gooseberry nose with some grapefruit underneath. Dry, fresh, crisp palate with good texture. Mineral, grapefruit rind, gooseberry, green apple skin and lemon flavours. Crisp, slightly oily finish. A bit more aggressive, herbaceous style but well balanced. Very Marlborough and well priced. Bring on the mussels.Tasted: 10 June 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
