Miguel Torres Conde de Superunda 2001

Valle del Curicó, Region del Valle Central, ChileHuge minty, sappy, cassis nose with tobacco, coriander, peppery, black cherry and olive notes. The palate is both dry and rich with some tight fin grained tannins in the back end. Plenty of spice, pepper and smoky vanilla mixed with cherry, black olive, cassis flavours. The finish is a mix of meaty tobacco, chocolate and licorice flavours. A rich chunky red with some warmth and complexity. Cellar for at least 3-5 years. This will get better in the bottle. Only 500 cases made.Tasted: 08 June 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
