Chalet Estate Pinot Gris 2005
British Columbia, CanadaWhat a pleasant surprise from Vancouver Island. An unfiltered pinot gris with some intensity and life. Yes it's definitely on the sweet side but the honey, mineral and earthy flecks keep it in line as does its juicy acidity. Best of all no it's clean with no funky characters. Well done.
