Priorato, Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainA first release. Very spicy, cardamom, floral, tobacco, cedar, cherry, gamey leather nose with a touch of smoky earth. Round, dry, slightly tight palate but elegant and warm. Peppery, clove, cedar, smoky, rootsy, black cherry and cassis flavours with some olive and garrigue on the finish. A bit young, should improve over the next 1-3 years.
