Kim Crawford Small Parcel SP Merlot Te Awanga Vineyard 2004
Hawkes Bay, North Island, New ZealandVery smoky, peppery, resiny, black olive, gamey, saddle leather aromas with some cedar and black cherry jam. Rich, round, dry, elegant palate but very dry with some cedar-y tannins. Mineral, smoky, herbal, resiny, vanilla, peppery, tobacco, olive flavours with some black cherry on the finish. Needs some time to smooth out but definitely on the lean side.Tasted: 16 May 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $28.99 | 750ml | speculative listing - Vincor International |
