Gérard Bertrand Classic Viognier 2005
Vin de Pays d'Oc, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceOpen floral aromas reminiscent of white flowers and orange blossoms with a streak of honey speak to the vineyards high-density plantings of 6000 vines per hectare. The entry is rich and full with a nutty honey fruity mid-palate. Just the right mix of oak (about 25 per cent), fresh clean stainless steel, and just the perfect level of alcohol. Impressive effort at an excellent price.Tasted: 09 May 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $16.99 | 750ml | specialty listing |
