Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAt Joie the '05 Un-Oaked Chardonnay has 10 per cent pinot blanc in the mix some 40 per cent of the chardonnay is made from the aromatic Musqué clone. Look for a young floral, minty grapefruit nose with grassy, green apple, lees and mineral aromas. Warm, round, viscous entry with a sweet and sour balance. Green apple, buttery, oily, grapefruit rind, mineral, zesty flavours. Unusual style with a bit of warmth on the finish.
