Carmen Syrah 2004
Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileSpicy, peppery, gamey, meaty, tobacco, leather nose mixed with some prune and black cherry fruit. Soft, round, warm and dry with light tannins. Licorice root, peppery, spicy, cherry, resiny, coriander flavours. A touch light on the finish but has some elegance and balance. Good fun and well priced.Tasted: 10 March 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $13.95 | 750ml | specialty listing |
