Carmen Reserve Petite Sirah 2003
Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileLovely enticing black berry jam nose streaked with licorice root, pepper, chocolate, iodine and resin. Fat, rich entry with a ripe round mid-palate. Loaded with cassis, black cherry, vanilla, spicy, chocolate, resiny peppery flavours. Slightly dry, rustic tannins on the finish but very good balance and fruit. Will improve over the next 2-4 years.
