Carmen Nativa Cabernet Sauvignon 2003
Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileOpaque and organic. Smoky, black olive, resiny, garrigue, saddle leather, black berry, menthol aromas. Dry, tight, rich palate but moderately tannic with some finesse. Sappy, cassis, peppery, smoky, eucalyptus, bay leaf, Maipo flavours with some tobacco and olive on the finish. More Bordeaux style, lean with acidity, but the best Nativa we have tasted.Tasted: 10 March 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $24.50 | 750ml | speculative listing - Calibrium |
