Verona, Veneto, ItalyOpen rich black cherry/prune nose with hints of almond skin, licorice, tobacco and pepper. Round, supple style but quite warm and dry. Peppery, prune, soy, coffee, spicy, smoky, mocha flavours with some almond on the finish. Similar to prior vintages, the nose is a bit volatile like most old-style Amarone.
