Amayna Sauvignon Blanc 2004
Valle de Leyda, Valle de San Antonio, Region de Aconcagua, ChileSmoky, canned asparagus, bell pepper, muskmelon and mineral aromas. Crisp, round, fresh and elegant with grassy, smoky bell pepper, asparagus, grapefruit and gooseberry flavours. Long, intense, balanced finish with a slightly oily, lime rind note. The mouth is much more intense and ripe than the herbal nose suggests. It's Leyda and it's a new cool site you need to get to know.Tasted: 14 February 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $29.65 | 750ml | private wine shops |
