Puglia, ItalyA bargain red from Antinori's burgeoning southern Italian project, Tormaresca. Neprica hails from Puglia at the heel of Italy's boot. The blend is a mix of NEgromaro, PRimitivo and CAbernet, hence the Neprica moniker and the flavour is fun. Licorice, prunes, and black fruit all wrapped in a warm, round, earthy, inviting style make it irresistible for the price. A solid performer with grilled meats.
