Sette Ponti Poggio al Lupo 2003
Maremma, Tuscany, ItalySpicy, meaty, peppery, black olive, vanilla, cassis jam aromas with a floral, licorice note. Rich, ripe, round and fat with fine grainy tannins. Big but balanced with very earthy, resiny, peppery, cassis jam, plum and tobacco flavours with a violet, chocolate finish. Long and full with good fruit and just a hint of earthy/dry Tuscany. Fine effort, needs 3-7 years.Tasted: 21 November 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $70.00 | 750ml | estimated - Liquid Art Fine Wines |
