Champagne, FranceFrom a single Grand Cru vineyard in Cramant that Mumm acquired in 1882, the house sees this wine an historically important expression, purposefully reflecting this tradition with a folded corner label to reflect the hand-afixxed labels of the past. It is also bottled with lower pressure (4.5 bars), as were Champagnes of 100+ years ago. A rare cuvée made since 1882, the Mumm De Cramant (nee Cremant de Cramant) has only been available for sale since 1960. White florals, green apple, and toast is laced with tight lemon acidity. Lively and exuberant, with ample spiciness and toast through to the tight lemon pith/peel finish. The Grand Cru weight and heft is evident, as is the creamy elegance of Cramant.Tasted: 02 February 2019Tasted by: Prices:

Champagne, FranceMumm de Cramant is a Blanc de Blancs made from 100 per cent chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs. Look for a pale yellow color. Light, lively mousse, persistent. Delicate fresh aromas of green apples, pear, citrus and toasty brioche. Very fresh, crisp, elegant palate. Toasty, baked apple, light citrus, pear, nutty, green peach flavors with a dry, elegant, long finish. Very fine, lighter mousse. Very delicate style that goes down quickly.Tasted: 30 November 2005Tasted by: Prices:
