Heartland Stickleback Red 2004

South Australia, AustraliaJust as there are a number of reasons why you might want to drink Stickleback White they all apply to Stickle Back Red. There's the screwcap, the passion of winemaker Ben Glaetzer who is simply not interested in making ordinary, commercial plonk and finally the wine itself. The red has that fresh savoury edge without the saddle leather and acidity that plagues so much inexpensive Oz red. Black fruit flavours smooth mid-plate peppery finish. Drink this one by the case.Tasted: 18 November 2005Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
