Foley Cabernet Sauvignon 2001

Santa Ynez Valley, Santa Barbara County, Central Coast, California, United StatesBig peppery, spicy, savoury, cardamom nose with smoky leather, cherry, cedar, lifted aromas and a touch of roasted bell pepper and olive. Soft, round entry but has a lean, tight, fresh mid palate. Very peppery, oaky vanilla, bell pepper, green olive, cherry, cedar-y flavours. Dry, warm, slightly tannic and somewhat acidic finish ― almost Oz like. Best with grilled meats.Tasted: 30 November 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
