Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaWe like the 60/33/7/ blend of shiraz/cabernet sauvignon/mourvèdre (all Barossa fruit) because it gives the wine immediate textural presence in the mouth. There's gobs of black fruit that is equally balanced by plenty of youthful tannins. Leaner than you might expect but more sophisticated.
