Michel Gassier Lou Coucacardie 2000
Costières de Nîmes, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceVery spicy, chocolate, gamey animal, smoky, garrigue, mint nose with a blackberry, tobacco background. Ripe, round, dry and supple style but a tad lean. Smoky, peppery, licorice, blackberry, bitter chocolate, meaty, cherry flavours dominate. Well balanced for near term consumption but should improve over the next year or two. Try with leg of lamb.Tasted: 31 October 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $49.95 | 750ml | speculative listing - Winspeer |
