Langmeil Cabernet Sauvignon Barossa 'The Blacksmith' 2003

Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaOpen coffee, licorice, blackberry, cassis, vanilla and saddle leather aromas. Rich, ripe, warm and somewhat gritty tannins with some acidity showing. Very spicy, cassis, rootsy, black olive, peppery, garrigue flavours. Dry, elegant despite some acidity and alcohol on the finish. Will need more time in the bottle (two to three years) to round out.Tasted: 05 October 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
