Sicily, ItalyCherry, violet, gamey, smoky, chocolate, green bean aromas with coriander and a touch of five-spice. Dry, slightly lean but elegant palate and some grainy tannins. Very peppery, spicy, cassis, cherry, chocolate licorice flavours with an earthy, roasted pepper finish. Warm with a touch of acidity and dry tannins showing, needs 1-2 years to soften but has good complexity.
