Vega Sindoa Rosé 2004
Navarra and Basque Country, SpainVinedos Nekeas was struggling with its Greek look-alike name so the Spanish rosé with the bright pale raspberry colour has returned with a new name, Vega Sindoa, and an artful label. The good news is the rosé with its spicy almond earthy notes and raspberry jam fruit flavours is as fine as the last one. A garnacha cabernet blend it has a fairly rich peppery strawberry finish. Big enough for dinner but perfect for that alfresco lunch.Tasted: 05 August 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $12.90 | 750ml | specialty |
