Doña Paula Cabernet Sauvignon 2003
Ugarteche District, Luján de Cuyo, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaMuch like the '02, the latest cabernet from Dona Paula has an attractive peppery cassis fruit nose, and if anything in '03, it's riper and showing less gamey hints. The entry is rich with a modicum of dry tannins to deal with. Plenty of chocolate, blackberry jam and pepper on the finish. A dense warm rich red made for steaks. Well done.Tasted: 01 July 2005Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $20.95 | 750ml | Speculative - Winspeer |
