Corona de Castilla Estilo 2003
Ribera del Duero, Castilla-Leon, SpainBig spicy, white pepper nose streaked with black raspberry jam, mocha, barnyard, gamey, meaty aromas. Rich, round, dry and full with grainy tannins. Big black cherry, mocha, peppery, cardamom, smoky, leather and tobacco flavours with a nice spicy vanilla, cherry finish. A bit dry and warm but should improve over the next 1-3 years. Very good value, worth trying.Tasted: 22 July 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $19.90 | 750ml |
