Castiglione Falletto, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyVery spicy, clove, coffee, vanilla, cherry, strawberry jam nose with saddle leather, barnyard, and orange peel throughout. Rich, dry, fairly supple palate with some grainy tannins. Big spice entry with tar, vanilla, pepper, cherry, strawberry, clove flavours. Good concentration and intensity, very ripe but a bit more modern in style.
