Stellenbosch, Coastal Region, South AfricaCoffee, vanilla, gamey, barnyard, leafy cassis nose with some black olive and cedar. Rich, round, elegant style but dry with grainy tannins. Very warm with chocolate, blackberry, cassis, black olive, cedar, vanilla and licorice flavours with a cigar and dry earth finish. Nice intensity and balance but the fruit is a bit green and lean. Needs another 2-4 years in bottle.
