Mission Hill Five Vineyards Pinot Grigio 2004

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaValue for money is not a common descriptor of B.C. wine but Mission Hill appears to be honing in on some varieties that are turning out to be both well made and offering good value. The "Five Vineyards Pinot Gris' is just such a wine with its leesy, flinty, honey, pear aromas spiked with a touch of anise and lime rind. It's both round and elegant on the palate and dry. More lime rind, mineral and baked pear flavours follow with a touch of butter. Very crisp, dry finish. Try with grilled seafood.Tasted: 10 June 2005Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
