Premieres Cotes de Bordeaux, Cotes de Bordeaux, Bordeaux, FranceTasted twice. A deep dark cherry red colour previews a smoky vanilla, coffee nose with peppery, black cherry, cardamom notes. Moderately rich and round with some youthful but soft tannins, it has a spicy, smoky espresso mid-palate with vanilla, black cherry, licorice and clove flavours. A bit lean on the finish and quite young but with fine intensity. Needs 2-3 years but it is quite drinkable now.
