LinCourt Pinot Noir 2002
Santa Barbara County, Central Coast, California, United StatesPerhaps the best LinCourt pinot yet the 2002 blends fruit from two Santa Barbara County vineyards; one in the Santa Maria Valley the other from the Santa Ynez Valley. The grapes are fermented in small open-top containers and the cap is punched down by hand several times a day. The result is an absolutely delicious and highly affordable pinot noir. Cherries earth and truffles seem to disappear into a sweet lush, fruity red with mouth filling textures.
