Esk River Sauvignon Blanc 2004
Hawkes Bay, North Island, New ZealandThe '04 Kiwi vintage was long and warm promoting fine ripeness in this the first ever release of the Esk River sauvignon label. Expect a clean, bone dry sauvignon with plenty of grassy, mineral flavours with classic gooseberry and lime rind touches. Very tightly wound. Would be perfect with oysters. Super fresh and clean. Good value but not a style for all wine consumers.Tasted: 23 May 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $14.99 | 750ml |
