Domaine Moillard Pommard-Epenots 1er Cru 2002
Pommard, Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceSmoky, cherry, compost and barnyard aromas flecked with vanilla and coffee. Dry, tart, round palate with light tannins. Spicy cedar-y, sour cherry and rhubarb flavours with more smoky vanilla highlights in the finish. It has fruit but it remains tart and dry - a disappointment for the vineyard and vintage.Tasted: 12 May 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $79.95 | 750ml | Speculative Listing - Vinterra Wines |
