Napa Valley, California, United StatesSpice coffee, mocha, and vanilla, peppery aromas mix with smoky, blackberry jam, cassis and licorice nose. Ripe, round, rich and elegant with some young, taut tannins. Mocha, spicy, peppery, blackberry, cassis, cardamom, flavours and a tobacco, licorice finish. Very good finesse and flavour concentration but tannins are firm and tight or Mountain-like. Needs another two to five years. The mix is 80/20 cabernet merlot; 80 percent comes of Mt.
