Babich Winemakers Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2004

Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandOpen aromatic canned asparagus, canned jalapeno, chalky, grassy, vanilla and butter aromas. Crisp, round, full and juicy with mineral, gooseberry, green apple skin, asparagus and smoky bell pepper flavours. Dry but suave, succulent and very well balanced. Perfect for mussels although the winery suggest you partner it with crumbed chicken breasts dabbed with mustard-cream sauce, or with baked salmon, smeared with salsa verde.
