Martinborough Vineyard Pinot Noir Martinborough Terrace 2002

Martinborough, Wairarapa, North Island, New ZealandBig gamey, rootsy licorice, barnyard, compost, carrot top, candied orange rind and dried cherry nose. Ripe, round, supple and elegant with ripe black cherry, orange peel, spicy, mineral, licorice, smoky oak, worsteshire flavours with a licorice, minty finish. Great mouth feel and balance if a bit funky on the nose.Tasted: 10 March 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
