Valle del Maule, Region del Valle Central, ChileOwner Dan Odfjell, a Norwegian 'armador' (ship-owner) makes this Chilean carmenère with Maule Valley fruit. The colour is intense and the nose ― an enticing mix of pepper and blueberries. The flavours are similar with a touch of jalapeno too. The finish is dry and peppery with just a hint of chocolate.
