Mezzomondo Salento 2003

Puglia, ItalySpicy, gamey, meaty, smoky prune, black cherry aromas with a chocolate and violet streak. Dry, round, slightly chunky style with some tannins. Chalky, meaty, peppery, spicy, smoky red with chocolate and black cherry flavours. It's warm and rustic on the finish with a touch of acidity but all in all a solid barbecue red. Great value.Tasted: 07 February 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
