Virna Barolo Cannubi Boschis 2000

Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyRipe black cherry, spicy nose with aromatic tarry, vanilla, tobacco, Christmas cake aromas. It is dry, round and rich with supple textures and ripe, grainy tannins. Fine black cherry, pepper, coffee flavours mix with spicy, orange peel, tar, vanilla, mint and smoke. A well balanced ripe attractive Barolo that will age for 3-10 years. Look for this at the Vancouver International Wine Festival in 2005. An excellent value from an outstanding year.Tasted: 05 January 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
