Sandhill Gamay Noir Burrowing Owl Vineyard 2003

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSmoky oak, gamey, cedar, spicy, peppery aromas. Smooth, round, dry palate with more smoky, vanilla, peppery, spicy, sausage flavours. Decent balance but not much fruit or varietal character. Could be a contender if the oak gets toned down and the fruit is left to be a bit more expressive.Tasted: 30 January 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
