Origin Napa Sauvignon Blanc St. Helena Brand 2003
Napa Valley, California, United StatesThe second Origin Napa wine tasted side by side but the St. Helena is not near as compelling as the Gamble Vineyard. It remains fresh but it is more herbaceous and without the same amount of extract and intensity. This all Napa sauvignon blends cool fruit from Carneros with warmer lots in Oak Knoll and Rutherford. The grapes are cold soaked and fermented with Bordeaux yeast for freshness and crispness. The goal is pure varietal sauvignon.
