Santa Ynez Valley, Santa Barbara County, Central Coast, California, United StatesFresh citrus style on the nose with limon notes but the flavours are broad and sweet. There's 25 per cent sémillon in the blend but it all appears riper than normal - perhaps mimicking the warm growing season. With fifty per cent new oak and 25 per cent sémillon to broaden the palate it's just too much in '03.
