Bernardus Sauvignon Blanc Griva Vineyard 2003
Salinas Valley, Arroyo Seco, Monterey County, Central Coast, California, United StatesThe Griva vineyard in the cool windswept Arroyo Seco AVA is planted exclusively to the Musqué clone of Sauvignon Blanc. The fragrant clone seems to thrive in the sandy cobblestone soils issuing a first class sauvignon that's simply delicious to drink. Look for mouth-watering lime rind and grassy/herbal notes that span a spectrum of fruit flavours from tight mineral/citrus to ripe melon and gooseberry. Great intensity but with balance. Well done.Tasted: 16 January 2005Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:US | $20.00 | 750ml |
