California, United StatesBig House must have a large kitchen because everything but the sink is in this delicious screwcap white that takes you off the beaten path. The mix is 35/24 sauvignon blanc / French colombard mix with 18/13/5/5 pinot blanc / chenin blanc / viognier and marsanne / malvasia / muscat. Winemaker Randall Grahm says he's inspired by the Friulian blends; we think he's just inspired. This is fun juice that's a trace herbaceous, a touch floral and of course deliciously fruity. Thanks to its gorgeously illustrated screwcap (competitors take note) it remains fresh and clean.
